Marlin

One of the most prized game species known around the world, small marlin are often encountered in outer Hervey Bay.

Most of the marlin caught on our charters are juvenile black marlin, and weigh up to 20kg. They are excellent sport on either 10kg spin gear or 10wt fly rods.

Your best opportunity would be through the months of spring and summer. On the right day, you can even sigh-cast to these amazing fish - an experience not common around the world.
