September has come and gone. And I bid farewell to all school holiday makers. It has been quite a productive start to spring. But the wind has been blowing!
Luckily the flathead have been around in good numbers. They are great for novice anglers and can be caught in many places out of heavy winds.
Tuna have also returned, and are making strong appearances in many charters. Mack tuna are most common, but there are many longtails about too.
By the end of spring, fishing got a bit quiet. But we still entertained with a few marlin captures. Some sight cast, but most trolled.
